Living life through a lens.

The exchanging of glances from the strangers that used to be lovers is indicative of our disposable lifestyle, the instant gratification of the lies we cement before leaving before the concrete has time to set,

A culture of giving up and trying again with the same mistakes and we wonder why without the glare of our mobile screens we feel lost and alone, communication died an analog death as the digital race slowly descends to the throne,

Becoming closer while being so far away and being a persona of the people we want people to perceive us to be is the new normality, viewing the world through a digital lens with our digital friends as we lose the scope of the world outside of our peripherals.

  1. Hello Barry, WOW!!! My friends and my mom discuss this very topic every week. The digital age has taken away from the excitement of liking someone from a glance to researching if they are a serial killer first and foremost. Young adults can barely sign their names, everything is on a computer.
Loved this piece, hope to read moe.
